Tigers fans are not happy with the team’s failure to live up to expectations this season, and after the team parted ways with longtime general manager Dave Dombrowski, some supporters are looking to cut ties with manager Brad Ausmus as well.

Two-time MVP Miguel Cabrera is a little more loyal though, and tried to change hearts and minds with a gift exchange at a recent game, offering a fan a baseball in return for his “Fire Ausmus” sign.

Padres mimic old-school wrestling for player intros

The Detroit News reports the fan, Justin Spiro, has a history with Cabrera and his signs, as the first baseman jokingly grabbed a “Fire Leyland” sign from the fan’s hands back in 2012, when Jim Leyland was still the Detroit skipper.
