Weekend at the Ballpark
This is one of the last true baseball weekends before football dominates the sports world for the next five months. Astros pitcher Mike Fiers, acquired at the trade deadline, started it off in spectacular fashion by hurling the fifth no-no this season, his first career complete game. However, the former Brewers pitcher is now being accused of using a foreign substance during the game. And we're sending lots of prayers to the Tigers fan that was struck in the head by a foul ball during the eighth inning at Comerica Park on Friday night. Detroit pitcher Justin Verlander is sick of the lack of safety for fans and is calling for the MLB to make changes. On the smaller diamond at the LLWS in Williamsport, South Carolina's Terrance Gist demolished a 381-foot home run to left center on Saturday, a blast that would've been gone in most big league ballparks, while his family was being interviewed by ESPN's Jaymee Sire. Unsurprisingly, they went ballistic.
Gamers are getting pumped for Madden 16's release this week, especially after EA Sports released this unreal (and kind of bizarre) 5-minute trailer that included Colin Kaepernick playing Al Pacino's role from Scent of a Woman. Here's a look back at all of the Madden Curse victims and who were the highest rated players in Madden 99? Also, Bleacher Report asks which NFL stars will see the biggest decline in player ratings in Madden 16?
SummerSlam is Sunday and WWE superstars picked their winner of the highly anticipated Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker match. SI's Luke Winkie also ranked the 27 SummerSlam main events of all-time.

Greg Olsen's 4-year-old son, Tate, wrote a Get Well Soon card for his dad's injured teammate, Kelvin Benjamin. Could this be more adorable?
First thing Tate did when he woke up this am was ask to make Kelvin a card. He was at the practice that KB got injured and has been asking about him since. We're all thinking about KB and Stephen Hill as they recover. They'll be missed this year for sure.

The tee box announcer at the Wyndham Championship couldn't contain himself when introducing Tiger Woods for the third round and gave some extra mustard for the 14-time major winner. We're a little surprised he didn't go full boar and announce Woods' height, weight and college...which would've been legendary.

The 16th hole at the European Tour's 2015 Made in Denmark event on Friday was not just another hole for Andreas Harto. The 27-year-old Danish golfer knew that he'd remember the hole for the rest of his life and was able to keep his cool in recording a birdie before proposing on the green:
