Sporting KC manager Peter Vermes got creative in picking his squad for the team's trip to Portland.

He brought in Bachelor in Paradise star Tanner Tolbert to help.

Given they'd be heading to the ‘Rose City,’ the Bacheloresque rose ceremony made at least some degree of sense for Kansas City. Watch as six players find out their fates for the trip, and one leaves with his heart broken.

Sporting KC and the Timbers are currently tied in the Western Conference table with 40 points each, so perhaps the buildup and drama is warranted.
