Alex Franz is a student at Alabama, and his friend Cam Wood attends Ole Miss, so before their schools squared off in Saturday's football game, the pair made a bet that the loser would get a tattoo of the winner’s choice.

That is why Franz is now the proud owner of an inked “Colonel Reb,” the University of Mississippi’s mascot until 2003, on his right haunch after the Crimson Tide fell to the Rebels in an upset over the weekend.

According to College Spun, had Wood lost the best he would have had to get the Alabama “A” and “RMFT” permanently drawn into his skin.

Perhaps Franz should consider transferring to his friend’s school, so that his tattoo is slightly less blasphemous.
