The Tongan national rugby team is in England for the World Cup and seems to have eased into a routine. The boys have been based in the town of Exeter for their World Cup preparations and quickly made themselves at home at a chain restaurant.
In the 10 days before their match against Namibia, the players visited the same Nando’s location every day for some spicy chicken.
As a token of their appreciation, the players all signed a jersey that will be hung up in the restaurant.
Now, eating fast food for a week and a half before a big game might not seem like a good idea but the Tongans topped Namibia 35–21 and are now in second place in their group.
