Giants’ Rashad Jennings has some deep thoughts on football

Monday October 5th, 2015

Rashad Jennings is in his seventh season in the NFL and has spent much of his life playing football, and with all that experience comes a great deal of wisdom about the sport, some of which he shared with the media on Sunday.

Granted Jennings’s deep thoughts are not entirely accurate, as there have been 73 NFL games that ended in a 0–0 tie, although the last one was in 1943, when Jennings' own Giants played the Lions to a scoreless draw.

Perhaps Jennings was just offering up a tribute to recently departed New York legend Yogi Berra with his comments, or maybe just reminding Virginia Tech’s Frank Beamer that the goal is for a team to score points.
