Sepp Blatter changed his Twitter bio so his suspension is finally official
Welp, looks like Sepp Blatter has finally accepted that he’s not FIFA’s president anymore.
Blatter, his right-hand man Jerome Valcke and UEFA president Michel Platini were all suspended 90 days by FIFA’s ethics committee on Thursday thanks to some heat from Swiss law enforcement. The Swiss are finally investigating what people have known all along: FIFA is cartoonishly corrupt.
Blatter (or, actually, whichever FIFA staffer runs Blatter’s account) removed his job title from his Twitter bio.

FIFA isn’t quite done with Blatter yet, though. The ethics committee can extend his suspension for another 45 days, meaning he’d be the acting president for about a week before the election to name his successor. Even so, there are rumblings that he’s looking to stay in power despite his previous resignation announcement.
