Mike Francesa invites crying Mets fan to sit with him at NLDS Game 3
Will from Queens has been invited to sit with Mike Francesa at NLDS Game 3.
On Sunday, a Mets fan known as ‘Will in Queens’ was reduced to tears on Mike Francesa’s show because of Chase Utley’s takeout slide in Game 2 of the NLDS.
Utley was suspended, but because of his appeal he will be in Queens for the first ever playoff game at Citi Field on Monday.
So will Will in Queens.
On Monday, Will phoned Francesa and got a surprise invitation to sit with the talk show host at NLDS Game 3.
He was speechless for a good seven seconds.
Maybe Francesa can bring him down to meet Wilmer Flores after the game, and the two can have a good cry.
