Cubbies Advance
The Chicago Cubs advanced to the NLCS by beating the St. Louis Cardinals 6-4 in Game 4 of the NLDS on Tuesday. The game was highlighted by Kyle Schwarber's monster home run that managed to land on the Budweiser sign at Wrigley Field. Schwarber's blast was so impressive that the Oakland A's went so far as to claim that the ball landed in Oakland. For what it's worth, the baseball was calculated to have traveled 438 feet, even though it seemed to fly 438 miles. Even noted White Sox fan President Obama congratulated the Cubs, as did some St. Louis bars after a Cubs fan remotely played the song Go Cubs Go on multiple bar jukeboxes through an app.
