Watch: Gronk trick-or-treats on Colbert, gets ethered by small girl

When Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn’t inhaling footballs, he’s inhaling bowls of candy.

When Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn’t inhaling footballs, he’s inhaling bowls of candy.

On Friday, Gronkowski stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert dressed up as Master Chief in the middle of trick-or-treating with some of his small friends, handing them free copies of Halo 5 that they would assuredly give to their older siblings or parents.

After he shed his mask and revealed his identity, a young girl embarrassingly rattled off his stats from the Pats’ Week 6 win over the Cowboys (only four catches for 67 yards.) Colbert had to remind him not to yell at her.

Gronkowski and the Patriots have already played, and won, their Week 8 matchup with the Dolphins, and won’t play again until Nov. 8. That’s plenty of time to consume pounds upon pounds of chocolate.
