This Certainly Got Interesting

After the Royals hammered in the Mets in Game 2 on Wednesday night, some wondered if the KC faithful could begin planning their title celebrations. However, Noah Syndergaard and the Mets returned the favor with a blowout victory of their own in Game 3, one that started with Syndergaard sending a message with a high and tight pitch to Alcides Escobar. We already knew that Mike Moustakas was a feisty player with a potty mouth but got a kind reminder on Friday night when he voiced displeasure with the pitch. Maybe he and others forgot that KC's pitchers were the instigators in a few incidents earlier this season.
