Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was in peak form during his pregame meeting with the media on Monday, revealing that he, a professional sports coach, actually isn’t all that much of a sports fan.
Pop, asked about the World Series, "Why would I want to watch a baseball game when I can go to dinner and relax...sports are boring."— Chris Mannix (@ChrisMannixYS) November 2, 2015
Of course, this is the same Pop that said this just a few nights prior:
Popovich asked if he likes the way LaMarcus Aldridge is fitting: "Sure. Sure. If I wasn't, I'd just say that. I'd just lie to you."— Royce Young (@royceyoung) October 28, 2015
But you can see where Popovich is coming from. I mean, 18 straight playoff appearances? Yawn.
