Has there ever been this many mistakes during a field goal attempt before?

Extra Mustard asks this seriously, as Illinois made error after error while trying to kick a field goal against Ohio State on Saturday.

First, the holder receives a low snap. After the bad snap, the holder can’t place the ball quickly enough for the kicker. The kicker, whose timing has been thrown off, runs up to the ball but can only muster a slow half-kick motion which misses the ball entirely. The holder then tries putting the team on his back, but as he runs with the ball he just drops it.

Seriously, he didn’t fumble, the holder just dropped the ball into an arms of an Ohio State defender. You can watch the whole sequence here;
