TBT: Chuck Norris wrote a blurb for Tim Tebow's autobiography

Sports Illustrated is moving offices soon and in preparation for the trek we are trying to get rid of all the clutter that accumulates when you reside somewhere for 56 years.

Among the flotsam and jetsam, Extra Mustard discovered Tim Tebow’s 2011 autobiography, Through My Eyes, and noticed some impressive names, ranging from Tony Dungy to Urban Meyer, gave blurbs for the book’s jacket. The most impressive of the bunch was none other than action star and human meme Chuck Norris, who had this to say:

• Men’s Style Q&A: Staying stylish in the cold

“Through My Eyes is an inspirational winner! Tim has succeeded in all aspects of his life, and now he can add author to the long list of accomplishments. His story shows that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.”

That is some pretty high praise from the star of Lone Wolf McQuade. Another blurb comes from country singer Darius (Please stop calling me Hootie) Rucker, who tells of the important role Tebow played in his life-changing conversion.

“I’ve always been a South Carolina fan and a few years ago I spent my Saturdays doing two things: pulling for my Gamecocks and rooting against Tim Tebow. Then my buddies in Rascal Flatts called and invited me to hang out with them and Tim. Well, Since that day I have been rooting for Tim Tebow. From the moment I met him I realized how real and genuine he is, and I am proud to call him my friend.”
