Rex Ryan spent much of the lead-up to Monday night’s Bills-Patriots game taking shots at the Pats and even the Boston media, so Tom Brady called him out on New England’s first possession.

Just like Peyton Manning’s “Omaha” and Aaron Rodgers’s “New York Bozo,” Brady decided to communicate something to his teammates by yelling “Rex Ryan” before the snap.

The Bills didn’t seem bothered by the shoutout, though.


It’s a pretty good joke, but Brady’s a smart guy and probably could have been a little more subtle. Stealing Rodgers’s call might have been a better option.
