Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been known to dabble in some trash talking with opponents.

Apparently, the quarterback isn’t afraid to involve your average civilian either.

Newton had some not so kind words for one Alabama fan on Saturday. While walking outside Jordan-Hare Stadium before the Iron Bowl game, the former Auburn star had some PG-13 rated words for a Tide fan who screamed “pay to play” at the quarterback.

Luckily, Cam had a crew there to diffuse the situation before it escalated.

Maybe next time Newton should challenge any hecklers to a dance off.
