What do you get for hitting an astronomical 30 million followers on Instagram? If Lionel Messi is any indicator, you get a signed Stephen Curry jersey along with a personal invite to stop by a Warriors game.
The reigning MVP used his own Instagram account, which has a comparatively scant 5.9 million followers, to offer congratulations to the Barcelona star, along with a signed No. 30 Curry jersey.
Messi also celebrated the accomplishment with his own No. 30 jersey, which was the number he wore in his first appearance with Barcelona.
Quería celebrar los 30 millones de amigos que somos acá en Instagram dándoles las gracias por el apoyo y mostrándoles la remera con la que debuté en el FC Barcelona, que casualmente también llevaba el dorsal número 30. ¡Espero que les guste! ¡Abrazos! // I wanted to celebrate the 30 million friends that we are here, on Instagram, and say thanks to every one of you for all the support. I am showing the kit that I wore in my first game with @fcbarcelona. By coincidence, I was wearing the number 30. I hope you like it! Hugs.
The Argentine also showed off his Curry jersey as soon as he received it.
Muchas gracias al fenómeno @stephencurry30 por mandarme su camiseta firmada con el número 30 para felicitarme por los 30 millones en Insta. ¡ cuando llegues a 10 millones te mando la mía! // Thanks so much to the great Stephen Curry for sending me a signed jersey to congratulate me for reaching 30 million followers on Instagram. As soon as you get 10M I'll send you mine!
An autographed jersey and a personalized message from Steph Curry seems like pretty good motivation to step up your Instagram game, or at least to get out there and buy a bunch of bot followers.
