Darius Rucker says Dolphins still make him cry
Darius Rucker is one of the biggest sports fans in music, and his most famous song, Hootie & The Blowfish’s Only Wanna Be With You, contains the admission that his favorite NFL team, the Dolphins, often bring him to tears.
In a new profile from NBC Sports’ Joe Posnanski, Rucker, who has gone on to a successful solo career as a multi-platinum country artist, admits that the line from the song still rings true, as Miami’s struggles still bring him to tears.
