Christmas shopping in Green Bay is very difficult for Aaron Rodgers

Many are feeling the holiday shopping crush with Christmas just over a week away, and it seems NFL quarterbacks are not immune, as Aaron Rodgers says he still has quite a bit of work to do.

Many are feeling the holiday shopping crush with Christmas just over a week away, and it seems NFL quarterbacks are not immune as Aaron Rodgers says he still has quite a bit of work to do.

The Packers quarterback recently told ESPN that he still had to hit the mall for a few things, an experience that can be very trying for a big star in a small town like Green Bay, especially when he is trying to keep his gifts away from prying eyes.

“I went to the mall two years ago and it was tough,” Rodgers said. “I got swamped. I was at Spencer’s buying some gag gifts for the quarterbacks, and it was one of those things where, I didn’t want anybody to see what I was getting, and people were kind of crowding around a little bit.”

In addition to the difficulty of dealing with fans, the reigning MVP says he does not have much free time to pick out gifts, allotting himself just 40 minutes over the next week to get what he needs, although Rodgers added he has been able to get most of his presents online this year.
