Busy Night in the NBA
Only three NBA games Thursday night, but lots of action. LeBron James had a sideline collision with Jason Day’s wife, Ellie, and she had to be taken out on a stretcher. James was later dunked on by Steven (not Scott) Adams, though the Cavs ended up winning 104-100. Kevin Durant pulled off a Dr. J baseline reverse in the loss. In Los Angeles,Kobe Bryant dunked for the first time all season but the Lakers still got blown out by the Rockets. Meanwhile in Toronto, DeMar DeRozan connected on a game-winning three-pointer as time expired, which was wiped out because Coach Dwane Casey called a timeout. The Raptors went on to lose in overtime.
