Aussie Update

Serena Williams continued her dominance over Maria Sharapova with a quarterfinals win in Rod Laver Arena, and the 2015 Sportsperson of the year looks to be ready for yet another major win. On the men’s side, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic advanced to the semifinals with straight set wins.


Spurs Slip While Boogie Blooms

The battle of the superpowers on Monday night turned into a bit of a blow out, with the Spurs falling to the Warriors 120–90 as Stephen Curry put in 37 points against Kawhi Leonard. It turned out the night’s best game was a little further north in California, as Boogie Cousins scored 56 points in a losing double overtime effort as the Hornets beat the Kings 129–128.


Lovely Lady of the Day
