Go Panthers Go

Cam Newton scored the SI cover this week as the Panthers prepare for Super Bowl 50. Some may say we cursed him, but few people know the SI Cover Jinx can actually be reversed by a really bad homemade rap song. And as luck would have it, two Panthers fans created just that.

Badass Homes of NFL Players

Peyton Manning's home is my favorite. Must be the Papa John's money.

Bad Night for NHL Refs

Calgary defenseman Dennis Wideman cross-checked/drilled a referee while skating off the ice during Wednesday night's game against Nashville. Wideman was shaken up right before but it definitely seemed intentional. That was not the case in Los Angeles, where an angry Milan Lucic accidentally punched a linesman in the face during a scrum.

Lovely Lady of the Day

It's almost time for the 2016 SI Swimsuit Issue, which means I'll be spending less time writing Hot Clicks and more time hanging out with swimsuit models. That's supposed to sound obnoxious. Wednesday, SI announced its second year of fan festivals (you can come meet the girls!) in New York City and Miami and the first three models in this year's issue. Hockey legend Emily DiDonato is one of the three, and today's LLOD (click for full-size gallery).

Paging Hoosiers Fans

Indiana State ran the Picket Fence play Sunday while defeating Evansville.
