Emmanuel Adebayor had to look up his new team on Google
Emmanuel Adebayor signed with Crystal Palace on Wednesday without knowing much about them. How do we know? Well, he told the team’s official website he had to dig up more background information on them.
From the Crystal Palace F.C official website:
“Palace have been playing the football that I like and they’ve got a few players that are my friends so all of those made me want to come here,” he admitted. “I don’t know much about the club but it’s better to learn so I’ll be going on Google and finding out more about them.
Both Crystal Palace and Abedayor’s old club, Tottenham, play in the Premier League. You’d think he would know a little more about them. At least he knows the system, and a few good players.
