The Mets affiliate in Binghamton, N.Y., is inviting fans to “Netflix and Chill” night at the ballpark this April, which has some fans questioning whether the team is familiar with what that actually means.
The Wikipedia page for the slang term (yes, it exists!), doesn’t dance around the true meaning of the phrase. Of course the B-Mets know what it means. This has viral minor-league stunt written all over it.
And they could use whatever help they can get to lure fans to the ballpark in early April, when the average low temperature is 34.7 degrees.
