Wait ... What?

It was hard at first to tell who was more stunned by Duke's 74-73 win at No. 5 North Carolina Wednesday night—the Blue Devils themselves or the suddenly blank-faced Tar Heel fans. Down by eight points late and playing without standout guard Matt Jones, who twisted an ankle early, Duke somehow hung in against North Carolina to simply steal one at Chapel Hill. The game called into question the last-minute strategy of coach Roy Williams, who got ripped on Twitter for passing up the chance to call a timeout before his team's fateful last shot. Check out the reactions from that upset and from Texas Tech's over No. 3 Oklahoma in the above gallery of the Night in Sports (click here for full-size version.)

Trading Places

The NBA returns from its All-Star break today with three games on the schedule, but the biggest moment of the day is the 3 p.m. ET trading deadline. Four-time league scoring champion Kevin Durant was in a joking mood on the eve of the deadline, saying the Oklahoma Thunder were looking to move him. Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings reportedly are interested in Pau Gasol, and Dwight Howard entered the day as one of the biggest names in trade speculation. Follow the trade rumors here and take SI.com's insanely difficult NBA trade trivia quiz if you consider yourself a big NBA fan.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Today's lovely lady is Hannah Ferguson, who, in case you missed it, had a slight tumble from a horse during this year's swimsuit shoot. Fortunately, both she and the horse were in the water at the time, making it eminently less dangerous but no less embarrassing. (Click here for Hannah's full-sized LLOD gallery.)

The Return to L.A.

Lost in the shadow of the Golden State Warriors' brilliance is that the San Antonio Spurs are on pace for the third-best record in NBA history. That won't mean much if the season ends anywhere near as crushingly for San Antonio as last season's playoff exit against the Clippers, whom the Spurs visit tonight. Coach 'em up, Pop. Coach 'em up.
