Watch: Jay Z calls out Chris Paul for beating Nets with same play

After the Clippers disposed of the Nets 105–95 in Los Angeles on Monday night, rapper Jay Z had a word with point guard Chris Paul.

Paul, who scored 23 and dished out 12 assists, sealed the game late with multiple pick and roll plays with center DeAndre Jordan. Jay Z, a former part-owner of the Nets, was in attendance with his wife Beyoncé and took exception to this.

“You ran that same play four times in a row, man,” Jay Z said. “What’s that about?”

The play seemed to work out pretty well for the Clippers, so why would CP3 deviate?

This was about the third-most noteworthy thing that happened in this game. The Clippers unveiled a condor mascot, and owner Steve Ballmer dunked off a trampoline.
