Robin Lopez’s birthday was on April 1, and the Knicks center got a special treat in the form of a cake and a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” from rookies Jerian Grant and Kristaps Porzingis.
Porzingis goes the extra mile and tries to really put some soul into the song, although his vocal abilities do not quite equal his passion in the clip captured by teammate Kevin Seraphin, who waited until Thursday to unleash it on the world.
The song came in addition to a win over his twin brother, Brook, and the Nets on Friday, so Robin definitely had the superior birthday this year.
