Donald Trump held a rally in Buffalo on Monday night ahead of Tuesday’s New York state primary elections and he brought out a very special guest to introduce him in the form of Bills coach Rex Ryan.
Ryan warmed up the crowd with a story about the Republican frontrunner’s days as the owner of the USFL’s New Jersey Generals, who at one point had NFL great Herschel Walker on the roster, a weapon that Ryan told the crowd Trump was very eager to deploy.
Trump then came onto the stage accompanied by a classic Jock Jam.
The real estate mogul then gave Ryan credit for winning two championships with the Jets when he hit the stage, although Ryan actually fell short in both AFC Championship games he reached with the team.
Trump is expected to win the Republican primary in his home state of New York over fellow contenders Ted Cruz and John Kasich.
