If you are going to learn how to pitch you might as well learn from someone who can throw a 100 MPH fastball, which is what Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach did before throwing out the first pitch at Wednesday’s Mets game.

Hard-throwing ace Noah Syndergaard spent some time with the Filipino beauty queen, teaching her the proper mechanics.

Wurtzbach also caught the eye of mascot Mr. Met.

Wurtzbach’s appearance was a part of the team’s Filipino Heritage night, which was capped off with a 5–2 victory to complete the series sweep of the Reds.
