Johnny Manziel sent out some interesting tweets

Johnny Manziel resurfaced on Twitter, garnering a reaction from many.

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has re-surfaced on Twitter after a turbulent off-season.

Manziel has been mostly absent from the social media platform since mid-March. He was released by the Browns early last month, and his life has continued to take turns for the worse since. Manziel was dropped by his agent Drew Rosenhaus, dropped by Nike and—most worrisome by far—indicted on misdemeanor assault charges earlier this week.

Manziel sent of tweets Friday night that seemingly referenced his troubled off-season.

“You guys act like what I'm doing is something new. I've been the same person, doing the same things since it all started,” Manziel wrote in one tweet.

He followed up by thanking those who have supported him.

“Made plenty of mistakes along the way, and have a lot I'd do differently. To all my family and real friends who have stuck by me...THANK YOU.”

Manziel also tweeted at a Cleveland radio personality who had tweeted a photo of Manziel at a bar on draft night. (Warning: Contains strong language)

Manziel was also involved in a back-and-forth with the @ShooterMcGavin account, which seemingly disapproved of his initial tweet.
