A 14-foot-tall statue of a Royals player has been found in the woods outside Kansas City.

Taking a hike through the woods is a nice experience, and lets you take in the sights of nature like birds and trees and maybe a deer or something. What you would not be expecting to see is a fourteen foot tall statue of a Royals player lying on the ground.

That was what someone discovered outside Kanasas City on Friday morning though, when they stumbled across a $8,000, 150 pound facsimile of a generic Royals outfielder that went missing from a local grocery store billboard on Wednesday night, according to KCTV-5.

Authorities are still trying to figure out who took the giant outfielder in the first place, although the most likely explanation is that at night it comes alive and walks the streets looking for another giant to play catch with.
