What is it with bees delaying baseball games?

Usually when they delay spring training games or even attack outfielders, the proper authorities are able to get things under control. But at Wednesday’s Triple A game between the Round Rock Express and OKC Dodgers in Texas, the bees couldn’t be immediately dispatched and caused multiple delays.

The bees took up residency on the radar gun mounted behind the plate, causing a delay in the bottom of the first inning.

High-tech methods were used to disperse them.

Six Mike Trout trade packages that are just as reasonable as any other

That worked for a little while, but the bees returned and delayed the game for another 25 minutes. This time they brought out the big guns.

We must take back our national pastime from the bees.
