A United States Marine surprised his daughter after the national anthem at Wednesday’s Atlanta Braves game.

A United States marine surprised his daughter after the national anthem at Wednesday’s Atlanta Braves game.

USMC Staff Sgt. Clayton Walker first appeared on the scoreboard before the anthem, telling his daughter he would be home soon. Walker’s daughter Cassidy was singing the national anthem along with some of her classmates from Langston Road Elementary School.

After the anthem, Walker ran onto the field.

Walker had been serving his fifth tour of duty before returning home. He will now resume serving stateside in North Carolina.
