Russell Wilson will host the 2016 Kids Choice Sports Awards

Seattle Seahawks quarterback is set to host the Kids Choice Sports Awards for the second year in a row

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will host the Kids Choice Sports Awards for the second year in a row, he announced in an Instagram video on Wednesday.

“I got some good news, I'm coming back!” Wilson said. “2016 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Sports Awards, I'm hosting again. I can’t wait.”

Wilson brought his A game last year, impressing kids and their families with hosting abilities and even showing off his dance moves alongside fiancée Ciara.

The night is sure to be filled with star athletes and, of course, a whole lot of slime.

The full list of awards and nominees will be announced on Thursday. The show will be filmed on July 14 and aired three days later at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon.
