Usually a college player will work his way onto NFL teams’ radars through his play during the NCAA season, or maybe he will catch a scout’s eye at the combine. But what is a player to do if these conventional methods fail?

UMass-Dartmouth receiver Abiola Aborishade is hoping to take an unlikely route to the NFL by earning a tryout with the Patriots by standing outside the team facilities everyday with a sign extolling his virtues as a player and asking for a shot with the team.
