President Obama sat down recently for an interview with The Players’ Tribune’s founding publisher Derek Jeter and the online outlet has released a brief clip of the forthcoming video, with the leader of the free world landing a pretty good burn on the former Yankee

The pair are chatting about retirement, which quickly segues into age, with the president commenting on how they are both still relatively young, before busting on the shortstop for his decreased mobility in his later years on the field.

Jeter is 41 while Obama is 54, so Jeter could point out the age discrepancy, but the MLB legend seems to admit that the commander-in-chief has a fair point about his speed on the basepaths in the twilight of his career.
