Kevin Durant Graces NYC
Team USA was in New York City for a photo shoot and decided to swing by Rucker Park and surprise some kids. They were pretty excited to meet Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving, but things went to another level when Kevin Durant stopped by. Maybe that will add fuel to those Durant-to-Knicks rumors.
Speaking of Kyrie Irving
If I were Kyrie Irving and had just won an NBA title, I'd party with a bunch of half-naked girls then eat chicken fingers and fries. Irving, apparently, had the exact same plan in mind.
R.I.P. Pat Summitt
As I'm writing this, news is spreading that Pat Summitt passed away at 64. SI's Alex Wolff wrote a great obituary about the former Tennessee coach. I actually heard her speak at the 2011 SI Sportsman of the Year award ceremony and she was excellent. I recommend you read this 1998 profile of her by Gary Smith.
