Sydney Leroux Dwyer plays for the U.S. Women’s national soccer team, but she still had a lot riding on Monday’s England-Iceland game. 

Leroux’s husband, Dom Dwyer, is English, so the couple made a friendly bet. After English suffered a stunning defeat at the hands of a country 26 times smaller than London, Leroux got to collect on that bet.
