An injury to a Redskins player landed Washington general manager Scot McCloughan on the injury report himself.

Apparently McCloughan became so enraged when he heard that first-round pick Josh Doctson hurt his Achilles tendon that he punched a wall hard enough to injure himself.

Chris Cooley recounted on his radio show Friday a conversation he had a McCloughan when he saw the GM’s hand bandaged up.

“I said, ‘What happened to your hand?’” Cooley said, according to the Richmond Dispatch. “He said, when I found out about Doctson—which they thought was going to be much worse, the Doctson injury, apparently it isn't going to be as bad—I punched the wall.”

Sure enough, McCloughan was spotted wearing a bandage on Friday.

As for Doctson, he told reporters Friday that he felt good while rehabbing. Maybe McCloughan should wait until he has more information before he punches a solid object next time.
