Lionel Messi is the latest soccer icon to wear a full NBA uniform in public

Paul Pogba wore a LeBron James costume. Now it’s Lionel Messi’s turn. 

What is it with soccer stars cosplaying as NBA players?

Last month, Paul Pogba was spotted in Miami wearing a full LeBron James uniform and even played some pickup hoops in the costume. 

It wasn’t a good look for Pogba, so why would Lionel Messi want to copy him? Messi took his (alarmingly large) dog for a walk on Sunday while pretending to be Derrick Rose.

Messi and Rose both rep Adidas and Messi was spotted wearing a Rose hat in November, so you figure he’d at least have the decency to match his jersey to his shorts.
