Trevor Williams’s father was brought to tears after watching his son’s MLB debut. 

The best part of seeing a new player crack the major leagues is always seeing the reactions of their parents. 

Pirates prospect Trevor Williams was called up Wednesday and pitched three solid innings of relief to earn a win. After the game, he shared a heartwarming moment with his family. When he gave the game ball to his father, he couldn’t hide how proud he was.

After his call-up, Williams tweeted how happy he was to finally be able to call his family with the news he had made it to the majors.
