The 2016 NFL draft begins on April 28, which means we are in the thick of “anonymous scout” season, in which unnamed NFL sources help shape the opinions of fans and media on the upcoming class of potential NFL players.

One anonymous scout criticized Ohio State’s Eli Apple for not being able to cook. So yeah, that’s the kind of stuff that goes on.

A player's reputation can turn on a report from any of these unseen arbiters of talent and character, but obviously little is known about them.

Extra Mustard has put together a quiz so that you can step into the shoes of these NFL gatekeepers to see if you have what it takes to become an anonymous scout.
