Video: Reporter nails half-court shot live on TV at MSG—on his first try

What are the odds of that?

New Yorkers watching the morning news on Friday probably spit out their coffee when they saw what NY1 reporter Roger Clark did. 

Clark was on the court at Madison Square Garden with a few members of the New York Liberty, who were supposed to teach him how to hit a half-court shot. Well, he didn’t need any lessons, because Clark drained the shot on his very first attempt—on live television. 

Anchor Pat Kiernan’s reaction was definitely the best. “This is live, right? This isn’t some kind of fix?”
