Fantasy football Player Projections -- Analyzing Week 12

Matthew Stafford should be started with confidence against the squandering Buccaneers this week.

What will Bobby Rainey and Donald Brown do for their respective encores?

The two unheralded backs had huge games last week, grabbing a stranglehold of the starting gigs on the Buccaneers and Colts, respectively. Both have much tougher matchups this week than they did a week ago, however. So what can they do in Week 12? Find that out, as well as the prospects of every other player in our Week 12 projections.

Quarterbacks

    1. 1
    2. Drew Brees

    4. PASS YDS352
    5. PASS TD4
    6. INT0
    7. RUSH YDS0
    8. RUSH TD0

Brees had a bit of a down week by his standards against the Niners, but should get back on track against the struggling Falcons.

    4. PASS YDS357
    5. PASS TD3
    6. INT0
    7. RUSH YDS0
    8. RUSH TD0

Stafford had 346 yards, two touchdowns and an interception against the Steelers last week. He should thrive against the Bucs, who allow the eighth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

    2. Peyton Manning

    4. PASS YDS349
    5. PASS TD3
    6. INT0
    7. RUSH YDS0
    8. RUSH TD0

It's a bit funny that it's considered a disappointment when Manning throws for 323 yards and one touchdown. He'll make up for it this week.

Running Backs

      Charles
      RB
    4. RUSH YDS92
    5. RUSH TD2
    6. REC YDS56
    7. REC TD1

After being a non-factor against the Broncos last week, Charles should have a monster game on Sunday.

    1. 2
    2. Reggie Bush
    3. Reggie
      Bush
      RB
    4. RUSH YDS86
    5. RUSH TD1
    6. REC YDS68
    7. REC TD1

Bush struggled against the Steelers, running for just 31 yards on 12 carries and catching two of his five targets. You're starting him every week, but the Buccaneers have been decent against opposing running backs, allowing the 12th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position.

    2. Matt Forte
    3. Matt
      Forte
      RB
    4. RUSH YDS124
    5. RUSH TD2
    6. REC YDS27
    7. REC TD0

Forte ran for 83 yards on 18 carries against the Lions and should have a big game against a St. Louis defense that has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs.

Wide Receivers

    2. Calvin Johnson
    3. Calvin
      Johnson
      WR
    4. REC YDS134
    5. REC TD2

Johnson had a huge game last week, catching six passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns. Just another day in the life.

    1. 2
    2. Dez Bryant
    3. Dez
      Bryant
      WR
    4. REC YDS119
    5. REC TD2

The Giants have been better than average against receivers for fantasy purposes, but you're starting Bryant with extreme confidence every week.

    1. 3
    2. Vincent Jackson
    3. Vincent
      Jackson
      WR
    4. REC YDS112
    5. REC TD2

Jackson had 10 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown last week. The Lions allow the second-most fantasy points per game to receivers, so anticipate a big game here.
