Nease (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) offensive lineman James Wilson de-committed from USC this week for Florida. The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder is rated the nation's No. 39 overall recruit in the Class of 2007 by RISE.

Wilson, a guard, was named to The Florida Times-Union Super 24 Football Team this past season after helping lead the Panthers to a Class 4A state runner-up finish. Wilson will be reunited at Florida with star quarterback Tim Tebow, who teamed with Wilson to guide Nease to a state crown in 2005.

Florida also has a commitment from another Nease senior, cornerback Justin Grant, who tallied 10 interceptions this season.

Wilson is the second major recruit who has de-committed for the Gators. Trinity Catholic (Ocala, Fla.) senior quarterback John Brantley, the 2006-07 Gatorade National Football Player of the Year, chose Florida after de-committing from Texas in December.
