Gracie Ragazza scores 12-1 upset at Los Alamitos

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. (AP) Gracie Ragazza defeated 6-5 favorite Fleet of Gold by a length to win the $46,500 feature Friday at Los Alamitos.

Ridden by Tyler Baze, Gracie Ragazza ran one mile in 1:36.67 and paid $26.20, $7.40 and $4 at 12-1 odds in her first start since Oct. 9 at Santa Anita.

Fleet of Gold returned $3 and $2.40, while Tacit Approval was another three-quarters of a mile back in third and paid $3.40 to show.

The victory, worth $27,600, increased Gracie Ragazza's career earnings to $79,710, with three wins in eight starts.
