NEW YORK (AP) Micromanage rallied to beat Vyjack by 1 1/4 lengths Saturday in the $100,000 Queens County Stakes at Aqueduct. Misconnect finished third, giving owner Mike Repole a 1-3 finish.

''It's like being a 13-year-old kid again,'' Repole said. ''I love it here at Aqueduct. We really didn't want to run the two horses together, but they were both training really, really well. And if they're both going to stay here this winter, this is the spot.''

Micromanage, trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by Manuel Franco, got his third win in 11 starts this season. He spent most of the year running much longer distances and on turf. He ended a four-race losing streak with the switch back to the main track while shortening up to 1 1-8 miles.

Racing wide throughout the race, Micromanage closed from seventh for his sixth career victory in 23 starts. The 4-year-old was timed in 1:51.76 on the fast track.

The Repole-owned entry paid $9.70, $3.70 and $4.90 as the third choices.

Vyjack, the 6-5 favorite following a fifth-place finish at Aqueduct in the Cigar Mile last month, paid $3.20 and $2.90.
