Checkupfromzneckup wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) Checkupfromzneckup beat Hold Me Down by 4 1/2 lengths Friday in the $72,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

Fourth in the early stages, Checkupfromzneckup took the lead on the turn and entered the stretch with a four-length advantage. Kendrick Carmouche was aboard for trainer Chad Brown as the 4-year-old improved to two wins in six races.

The time was 1:38.86 for the mile on the fast track.

Checkupfromzneckup, the 7-5 favorite, paid $4.80, $3 and $2.10.

Hold Me Down returned $12.60 and $4.70 while Striking Impact paid $4.40 to show.
