On the day of the 141st Kentucky Derby, American Pharoah continued to be the betting favorite to win the 2015 Kentucky Derby at odds of 3–1, according to the race's official odds.

American Pharoah was first given 9–4 odds, but after the horse drew the No. 18 post position on Wednesday, the odds moved to 5–2. After Stanford, El Kabeir and International Star dropped out leading up to the race, American Pharoah moved to Gate 16, which relative to the field would be post position 15, and the horse's odds now sit at 3-1.

Dortmund, which is in Gate 8 and has the second-highest odds to win the race, saw its odds move from 3–1 on Thursday to 5–1 on Friday. Now, the horse's odds are at 4-1 to win.

The derby will take place at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.
