Belmont Stakes odds: American Pharoah is betting favorite
The 147th running of the Belmont Stakes will take place on June 6 at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.
American Pharoah could clinch the first Triple Crown since 1978 after winning both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes.
According to Bovada, American Pharoah is the favorite to win the Belmont Stakes. Frosted and Materiality have the second and third-best odds, respectively. Ten horses will compete at this year's Belmont.
The horse's trainer is Bob Baffert and its jockey for the race will be Victor Espinoza.
The Belmont Stakes is longer than the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes and offers a $1.5 million purse.
